Adjunct

Policy

In order to abide by the spirit of the funding agreement entered into by SEAMO, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Ontario Medical Association, management will not approve the recruitment of adjuncts which would result in substantial change in the FTE adjunct complement. As a corollary, replacement FTE adjuncts will ordinarily be allowed.

Change to the FTE adjuncts complement may be allowed:

1. Under exceptional circumstances consistent with the core priorities of the Academic Health Sciences Centre; and

2. If Governors are informed by the CEO prior to the CEO approving a position; and,

3. Only after the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has been informed by the CEO.
