As a result of the February 2019 Binding Arbitration Settlement, SEAMO’s share of the Innovation Fund has increased from $650,000 to approximately $1.2 million annually. This means that for the 2019/20 competition (this year only), applicants can apply for up to $200,000 over a two-year period.
Later this Fall a working group will be established to review the current Innovation Fund (including the size of the awards, the type of awards, the evaluation process, etc.). We welcome your feedback throughout this process. Interested in being involved in this working group? Let us know!
To apply for the 2019-20 competition, please submit an initial Statement of Intent (one to two pages in length) that provides a brief description of the project and its study design.
