This group learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Queen’s University for up to four Mainpro+ credits. This event is an accredited group learning activity (section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is approved by the Office of Continuing Professional Development at Queen’s University.
Tracie Smith-Beyak is a master trainer, global presenter, author and assessor. Specializing in biomechanics, athletics and pre/postnatal fitness, she has made regular appearances in fitness, medical NS business industries for more than three decades. Previous posts include: Programs Manager, Athletics & Recreation at Toronto Metropolitan University [Ryerson University], Development Manager, Sports & Recreation, Sheffield City Council [UK], National QUEST Assessor in the UK and owner Conquer Fitness & Education. Tracie is a primary author for the canfitpro ‘A Fit Pregnancy’ certification course, a previous member of the canfitpro National Fitness Advisory Panel and her awards include The Women in Business Award 2015, The Readers Choice Personal Trainer Medal 2016, Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 and the Best of the Best in Personal Training 2015.
