We’re excited to introduce the newest members of our community. These physicians began their roles in March, and we’re pleased to welcome them to SEAMO.
Dr. Jessica Blom joins the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her MD and PhD at Western University, followed by residency training at Queen’s University and a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Blom brings expertise in advanced gynecologic procedures, with interests in endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and quality improvement in surgical care.
Dr. Sang Ouk Chin joins the Department of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. He completed his medical training and specialty training in internal medicine and endocrinology at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, Korea. Dr. Chin brings academic and clinical experience in endocrinology, with a particular interest in disorders of the pituitary gland.
Dr. Polycarp Orji joins the Department of Pediatrics, providing care at Brockville General Hospital. We’re pleased to welcome them to the SEAMO community.
Dr. Elizabeth (Babette) Stern joins the Department of Medicine in the Division of Hospitalist Medicine. She earned her MD from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Stern brings experience as an academic hospitalist, with interests in quality improvement, patient safety, health equity, and medical education.
