We are deeply saddened to share the news of Dr. Pallavi Nadkarni’s passing on September 20, 2020.
Dr. Nadkarni was a Photo of Dr. Pallavi Nadkarniphysician in the Department of Psychiatry at Queen’s for almost ten years. Most of her clinical work was done as part of the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry team at Kingston General Hospital where she exemplified a commitment to care and strong advocacy for mental health supports.
Dr. Claudio Soares, Department Head of Psychiatry, wrote about Dr. Nadkarni: “I also remember her inspiring enthusiasm for education, always encouraging her trainees and celebrating every single achievement they had – from a publication in a prestigious journal to a casual PowerPoint presentation that was well put together, well-delivered. She always made them feel special.”
