Sandra Jadin

Dr. Jadin started in the Department of Anesthesiology on August 1, 2020, coming from a clinical fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. She went to school at the University of Toronto and the University of Basel.

Tracy Cupido

Dr. Cupido has been in the Department of Anesthesiology since September 21, 2020. She completed her postgraduate training at Queen’s. 

Kendra Derry

Dr. Derry joined the Department of Anesthesiology on February 5, 2021. She has expertise in cardiac anesthesia and completed her postgraduate training at the University of Ottawa.

Emergency Medicine

Troy Neufeld

Dr. Neufeld has been a member of the Department of Emergency Medicine since February 1, 2021. He is a 25-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and completed his Resuscitation and Reanimation Fellowship at Queen’s.

Harpreet Singh

Dr. Singh has been a member of the Department of Family Medicine since October 20, 2020 and is a hospitalist at Providence Care. She completed her postgraduate training at Queen’s. 

Pediatrics

Nadine Morrison-Levy

Dr. Morrison-Levy has been part of the Department of Pediatrics, specializing in Pediatric Neurology since August 17, 2020. She completed her residency training at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica and completed clinical fellowships at the University of Toronto and the University of Ottawa.

Brianna Empringham

Dr. Empringham is a pediatrics physician based out of Brockville since July 1, 2020. She completed her postgraduate training at McMaster University and the University of Toronto.

Harvinder Chawla

Dr. Chawla is a part of the Department of Pediatrics based out of Brockville General Hospital since July 1, 2020. She is a graduate of the University of Delhi. 

Medicine

Claire Kennedy

Dr. Kennedy has been part of the Department of Medicine since June 1, 2020 and is a part of the Division of Nephrology with a focus on expanding the Home Dialysis Program. She received her MB BCh BAO from the University College Cork in Ireland.

Dr. Stephen joined the Department of Medicine on July 1, 2020. He studied medicine at the University College Cork in Ireland and completed advanced training in Neurology at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.

Marie Leung

Dr. Leung has been part of the Department of Medicine since August 10, 2020 and is a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine. She studied at the University of Waterloo, Queen’s and McMaster University.

Simon Hansom

Dr. Hansom joined the Department of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology on October 1, 2020. He completed his training at Cambridge University Teaching Hospitals in the UK and did a fellowship at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.

Pathology

Jeannie Callum

Dr. Callum has been a member of the Department of Pathology since January 1, 2021 and she is a transfusion medicine specialist and hematologist. She completed a fellowship in internal medicine at the University of Toronto and received transfusion medicine fellowship training with the Canadian Blood Services.

Catherine Bobek

Dr. Bobek has been a member of the Department of Psychiatry since September 15, 2020. She completed her postgraduate training in the Queen’s University Emergency Medicine Research Group where her research included investigations into syncope, TIA and traumatic brain injuries.

Andrew Drury

Dr. Drury joined the Department of Psychiatry on December 7, 2020. He graduated from Warwick Medical School (in the UK) and completed his psychiatric training at the Maudsley Hospital in London, UK.

Jonathan Fairbairn

Dr. Fairbairn joined the Department of Psychiatry on October 5, 2020. He graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Medical Science, Honours Specialization in Pharmacology and a Doctor of Medicine. His interest is in the role of urgent psychiatric services in providing timely access to ambulatory psychiatric care, reducing avoidable acute care usage, and providing transitional care for patients following discharge from inpatient psychiatry. 

Surgery

Alexandra Hatchell

Dr. Hatchell has been part of the Department of Surgery since October 17, 2020, specializing in plastic surgery. She finished her plastic surgery residency at McMaster University and has a research focus in patient-reported outcomes and functional outcomes in reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Kassam has been a member of the Department of Surgery since January 1, 2021. He is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic trauma and spine and completed his postgraduate training at Queen’s, with fellowships done at Queen’s and the University of Calgary.

Christopher Doiron

Dr. Doiron has been part of the Department of Urology since July 1, 2020. He has completed training at the University of Toronto and Queen’s and done fellowships at the University of Alberta and Queen’s. His clinical and research interests include genitourinary reconstruction and urologic pain.
