Did you know that Midwives are now able to send eConsults through the Ontario eConsult Service?
In collaboration with the Association of Ontario Midwives, the Ontario eConsult Centre of Excellence has launched the Midwives Access to eConsult Advice (MACA) project. This initiative enables midwives to access timely, client-specific specialist advice through eConsult on the OTNhub platform.
This new development improves continuity of care by allowing midwives to consult with specialists more efficiently and directly — a valuable addition to client-centered maternity care.
The SEAMO Digital Health Team is thrilled to support midwives in our region as they begin to explore and integrate this service.
