physicians walking and talking in hospital hallway

Here are a few things the Physician Wellness Advisory Committee is working on:

  • We have almost finished our ‘Organizational Wellness Strategy’ and will be sharing it in the coming months. This includes the key priorities we would like to focus on in 2023-2024. Our strategy was developed in response to your suggestions on the Well-Being Index (WBI) last year, feedback from each Department, as well as incorporating evidence-based interventions from the literature. We will use your responses on the WBI annually to guide and refine our strategy.
  • We continue to meet with IT regularly to improve the collaboration between the physicians and IT departments at the hospitals.  Let your Departmental Wellness Leader know if you have IT issues and solutions that would improve your experience.
  • The Speaker Series is up and running through Queen’s OPDES. Notifications of events will be announced via SEAMO. Attending sessions allows you to be eligible for CME credits through both the Royal College and the College of Family Physicians.

We always welcome comments, suggestions and feedback. Email us anytime at We would love to hear from you.
