As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more of our physicians need to connect with their patients virtually. SEAMO is now supporting two secure online platforms that connect physicians with patients virtually.
Register for a secure web-based platform:
- The Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) enables you to easily connect to your patients, no matter where your patient is located. IMPORTANT: if you are currently participating in the eConsult Program, you have access to the OTNhub and can start using the eVisit tool right now!
- SEAMO recently purchased Pro Subscriptions to the online platform REACTS for all SEAMO-affiliated physicians because OTN was unable to keep pace with the overwhelming demand for access to virtual care tools. REACTS is also a secure, integrated, collaborative web-based platform with unique and unparalleled interactive tools designed to suit the multiple collaborative needs of healthcare professionals and patients.
- All SEAMO-affiliated physicians should have received an email from REACTS asking them to activate their account. Please follow the link in the REACTS email to register for an account. IMPORTANT: SEAMO has paid for your subscription, so there is no charge.
- If you do not have access to the OTNhub and have not received an email from Reacts, please contact khsc.clinicregistrationassistance@kingstonhsc.ca

Bill for eVisits and telephone consults
On March 13, 2020, the MOH introduced new billing codes (K080, K081, K082 and K083) for physicians providing eVisits using online platforms such as REACTS, Skype, Zoom, Facetime, etc. Please refer to INFOBulletin #4745 for details.
Effective April 01, 2020, the MOH eliminated most of the OTN premium codes associated with eVisits. Please refer to INFOBulletin #4750 for details.
